TEMPEST is an armoured remotely operated vehicle primarily intended to assist with humanitarian landmine clearance. Entirely built in Cambodia, it can also be fitted with a range of Bobcat tools and its on-board software is flexible enough to allow it to operate additional equipment. Apart from its contribution to the clearance of landmines, the TEMPEST production line has employed 30 Cambodians, 50% of whom are disabled, with employment for over a decade. This has included technology skills transfer in a number of engineering and electronic techniques.
